Monarda didyma 'Dark Ponticum' Plants
Monarda didyma 'Dark Ponticum' Plants
The dark ponticum monarda is a compact monarda that blooms over a long period in summer. The purple blooms are borne in the traditional whorled fashion and sit beautifully on top of strong stems. The foliage remains clean if the soil is kept evenly moist at all times and when grown in full sun. This beautiful perennial attracts hummingbirds, bees, and butterflies. Deer are not crazy over this plant but may browse on them if no other food source is available.
