Lettuce 'Nevada' Plants

Nevada lettuce, a batavian type, has bold light green heads that are wrapped tightly and mild tasting.  Produces a nice weight if left to mature.  Resists tip burn and is slow to bolt.  Tolerates heat better than other lettuces.  Great for summer production!

Fertilizer: Apply an 1" of compost in fall or late winter prior to planting or scratch an all-purpose granular fertilizer in the ground prior to planting.
Water: Keep evenly moist at all times.   For crispier leaves heavily saturate a planting the day prior to harvest.
