Kale 'Lacinato' Plants
Lacinato kale, also known as dinosaur kale, is a very dark green kale with a mild flavor and a large size. If you never liked kale because of its strong taste you have to try this variety, as it is much sweeter and never bitter. The leaves are more tender than other varieties as well. Recently popularized for making kale chips. Try it steamed, as a substitute for cabbage leaves in cabbage rolls, add small leaves to salads, or get creative with endless casserole ideas.
