Dahlia 'Café au Lait'
Dahlia 'Café au Lait'
Café au Lait, means coffee with milk in French, and it is a very fitting name. The large, 8" blooms emerge with a slight caramel (coffee) tinge and age out to creamy white with a vague pink hue. These richly colored and uniquely shaped blooms coupled with deep green foliage make a bold statement in any garden setting. In our trials it topped out at 24" tall, but others state it can reach heights of 48", therefore providing a stake isn't a bad idea. Café au Lait has been a proven cutflower for quite some time and is especially useful in wedding bouquets.
