Campanula punctata 'Rubrifolia' Plants
Campanula punctata 'Rubrifolia' Plants
Campanula 'Rubrifolia' is a large, flowered version of the species Campanula puncata with intense ruby blooms up to 2.5" long. These blooms are borne in summer for four to six weeks but will continue until fall if properly sheared; preventing seed formation. The foliage is deep green, slightly felted, with leaves borne densely on strong flowering stalks. The plants slowly creep by underground rhizomes but are not invasive. This hardy perennial is a frequent stop for hummingbirds. Enjoy in the mixed container, in a woodland planting, or in the shady rock garden.
