The most popular winter squash in the United States because of the rich orange flesh that is yummy in soup and scrumptious pies. ‘Butternut’ is also more tolerant of squash bugs than other squashes. The fruits will store up to nine months under ideal conditions. Give these guys plenty of room to ramble.
