Buddleja Buzz 'Sky Blue' Plants

Buddleja Buzz Sky Blue is a light blue blooming butterfly bush.   This unique plant bred by PlantHaven International, has a compact habit with sky blue blooms over top of silver green foliage.  The 6"-8" bloom heads stand upward, are borne on the plants all summer long, and will bloom up to five months if dead ones are removed.   A top choice for the mid-border and works nicely as a solitary planting or in groups of three.  Loved by hummingbirds, butterflies, and other pollinators.  Can be grown in containers, as long as, the potting soil is well-drained.

Fertilizer:  If using compost apply an 1" at planting time and side dress annually in late fall or early spring.  If using a granular fertilizer, we recommend organic formulations, apply an all-purpose formula in early spring annually.  It is only recommended to use liquid fertilizers when the growth is slow, and this is not normally needed.
