Mustard 'Green Wave' Plants

'Green Wave', is a popular green mustard variety that is well known for it's curly edges and larger leaves,  'Green Wave', also packs a nutrient punch.  The leaves are rich in vitamins K, C, and A.  There are also moderate amounts of dietary fiber and folate.  'Green Wave' is sweeter tasting than other mustard greens, but still has the "bite" of traditional mustard greens.  A hardy annual.

When to plant: Spring and fall; ideal temperature range 39°F-75°F.  Bolting occurs during high heat.
Fertilizer:  Apply an all purpose fertilizer at planting.  We prefer organic for better soil health.  Fertilize weekly with fish emulsion or a nitrogen rich liquid fertilizer.
