| A genus comprised of 26 species of annuals, and perennials, that inhabit moist meadows, grasslands, and wastelands in Europe, and temperate Asia. Cultivated for their daisy-like flowers and neat habits. Parent Species of Plants We Offer: Leucanthemum x. superbum - Clump forming perennial with lanced shaped dark green leaves. Blooming from early summer to early autumn with flowerheads up to 5" across. Grows up to 36" tall and spreading 24" wide. Garden origin. Growing Tips Plant in a well-drained soil that has been slightly enriched with organic matter. Space twelve to fourteen inches apart in a full sun/partial shade location with a pH range of 6.0 - 7.0. Stake plants that are to be grown in rich soils, in most cases plants grown in rich soils will exceed the average height rating. |
