Brunnera macrophylla - Rhizomatous perennial with mid to deep green leaves up to 8" long.  The heart shaped leaves
give rise to bright blue flowers up to a quarter inch across and are borne on 8" panicles in spring.  Grows up to 18" tall
with a 24" spread.  Native to Caucasus, and hardy to zones 3 - 7.

Growing Tips
Plant in a well-drained soil, that is located in a shady location, and has been enriched with compost, leaf mold, or
likewise material.  Spreading a good 1/2" of compost around base of the plant every fall(making sure not to cover the
crown of the plant), will fertilize the plant throughout the upcoming season.  Easy plant to grow as long as the required
conditions are met.
