A genus of 200 species of evergreen ferns.  The habitat range of these ferns is from alpine
cliffs, to tropical forests the globe around.  Cultivated for their evergreen fronds that are lanced
shaped, and arise from erect or short-creeping rhizomes.

Growing Tips
Plant in a well-drained fertile soil, with a  pH range of 5.5 - 7.0.  Enrich soil with compost and leaf
molds to maintain moisture.  Space ten to twelve inches apart in full to partial shade.  Also,
great in containers, and hanging baskets
