A "sweet treat" that doesn't melt in extremes of heat and humidity. This beauty has the parentage (Heuchera villosa) that takes the heat and humidity, and turns it into a remarkable year round display of color. The spring foliage is a rich apricot with rose undersides. As the spring season turns to summer the leaves fade to a soft amber and give way to dense panicles of cream colored flowers. In fall, the foliage turns a screaming red that is enhanced by frost. Heuchera 'Caramel' can be summed up as offering year long amusement, while being one of the easiest plants to grow. There is nothing as sweet as that!
