Coreopsis Growing Tips
|
|
- Plant in a well-drained soil that has been enriched with organic matter or already has an
adequate amount of organic matter.
- Make sure the soil is within a pH range of 5.5 - 7.5 before transplanting.
- An application of mulch helps retain moisture in the soil, supplies nutrients to the plants
as it decomposes, and prevents winter heaving (drastic freezes and thaws) by maintaining an even soil temperature.
- Pluck spent flowers to prolong the flowering period
